Ya Ha Tinda and
Panther River

PANTHER RIVER & YA HA TINDA
Some of the Bar TT crew, owners Ian & Laureen and summer student Hannah, took a weekend exploring some beautiful Alberta horse trails.
Our adventure started at Panther River. What a great campground. On Saturday we followed the wagon trail across the river and up the treed slopes. It turned out to be a lovely 4 hour ride. Sunday started very windy and cool so we packed up and headed home. The weather improved at Mountain Aire bridge so we pulled into Ya Ha Tinda.
What a busy but gorgeous spot - much more open. We unloaded the horses and explored trails for 3.5 hours. A bum steer led us off our intended path but offered a challenging climb, high on the mountain.
All in, this was a great weekend adventure We can't wait to head out again.
