Neighbors Input
We are preparing letters to send to our neighbors to provide information about our planned changes. We will also host an Open House on March 11 from 2pm to 5pm to walk through the lots and discuss our plans. If you are unable to join us, you are welcome to email with any concerns or support. Below is an input form you are welcome to use.
Details
If approved, this Special Use Permit would allow us to have more horses and cattle on our combined lands. It would also allow seasonal parking of an RV at the lot off of Diamondback for staff and guest housing.
Our plan is summarized below. It shows the proposed location of new stalls, a bigger hay barn, an enlarged manure composter and the RV site. The Special Use Permit allows us to change the use but each of the buildings would require a building permit and county review of their own. The RV site would require its own approval as well.
We will not fulfill this plan immediately, but we want to have a plan for the future of our business so that we can make appropriate decisions to retain more horses in training through the winter and acquire a larger hauling trailer as these options become feasible for us.
