Must provide own transportation and accomodation. 

Local hires are preferred.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent

• Working English. We also speak French and Italian

• Physically strong and fit, healthy and happy

• Appropriate ranch clothes, boots, hat/helmet

• Familiar with horses, stall cleaning, feeding

• Experience with wound care, medications, injections

• Competent and experienced western rider

• Smart, inquisitive, vitally interested in horses and our discipline

Areas of Work:​

• Barn - halter horse and tie outside stall, pick manure and remove wet bedding from horse stalls (5 barn stalls, 10 outside stalls), use wheelbarrow to take manure to storage area, sweep/blow out aisle

• ​Feed & Water - feed hay & grain to barn horses as instructed, feed hay/grain to outside horses, check all waterers & clean regularly, maintain tidy feed room

• Assistant - Catch horses, tack up and warm up, take horses after work to hose down and return to stall/pen

• Shows - Assist at shows in perparing horses for competition, warm up, cool down, hose off, feed and clean stalls.

• Keep the schedule for the barn so that horses & riders are always ready to go when their class comes up.
