RIley is a well bred and eager young cow horse prospect. We hope to see her started and progressed toward the reined cow horse futurities in 2024. Her sire is a talented and well known cutter owned by Alberta's own, George Neufeld. His progeny are just starting to show their impressive talents in the show pen. Her dam is an own daughter of the multi-champion World Reined Cow Horse, NMSU Truckin Chex, affectionately known as Elvis. Under Kevin Stallings, Elivs was competitive at the Open Bridle until he was competing against his own offspring. It's this longevity that appeals to us as we plan RIley's future.
We would like Riley to have a professional cow horse start and a chance to show her talents in the futurity show ring. Of course, each horse has their own path an it's early to predict where RIley may excel. Her friendly approach, bold, carefree attitude and strong physical body set her up well for whatever lies ahead. She's definitely smart and thinks she's something special. While the other horses graze quietly, she's finding her escape route out of the pen to explore. She doesn't go far but likes to remind us that she could leave if she wanted to be somewhere else. Hopefully this attitude will come into its own when she's under more work an in competition!
